In Cisternino in the heart of the Itria Valley, between the typical trullis, on a hill high 397 meters on the sea level, it rises the Biological Agricultural firm "Il Frantolio di D’Amico Pietro", of ancient working family tradition in the olive oil field from the 1917. The Agricultural firm uses the farming method of the biological agriculture, certified by Bioagricert, and it extends it on a 25 hectares area, farmed almost all of it with olive trees grove, about 1.400 plants of secular olive tree, with typical varieties of our territory: Ogliarola, Nardò, Cerasola, Fasola, Corna Leucocarpa and two varieties of natural olive tree groves of our Mediterranean stain. The primary and of best value product of the firm is the Extra-virgin olive oil "Trisole", also certified "qualitatively" from the Guild of the Ledger Oil.
